The main purpose of the Mind Games Project is to raise awareness of mental health problems in young people, and to help young people to help themselves by providing information on common problems, self-help techniques, looking out for your friends, and when & how to seek help.

The aim of the project is to reduce stigma surrounding mental health problems in young people, and make it easier for young people to address their mental health needs early on, so that they are less likely to become long-term problems.

The Project has been developed as part of a Negotiated Study for the Graduate Diploma in Mental Health at the University of Worcester.

The project is designed to be expanded and used is schools, colleges, and Universities as a tool to de-mystify mental health and to promote positive mental health attitudes, including encouraging young people to look after their own mental health and be mindful of the mental health of others.
